We'll start with the Bobcat T200 / T250 / T300 / T320 / 864 track drive motors. First of all, there are two basic types: long nose and short nose--and two ways to figure out which one you need.
The easiest way to determine which one you need is to just measure the depth of the sprocket: the depth for the long nose version is 6 inches and the depth for the short nose version is 4.5 inches.
There's a second way, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK FOR THE BOBCAT T-650.
Look at the distance from the top of the sprocket flange to the top of the center mounting flange. As you can see below, the distance for a short nose is 5.5 inches and for a long nose is 7 inches.

When you order your replacement drive, you will need to indicate how many sprocket bolt holes that your current track drive has.
